Drifted Ashore | Hawaii Newborn Photographer

This image has been kicking around in my head for a few months.  I finally got a mom willing to have her baby model for me.  Baby and Mom were only on the beach for about 10 minutes and then I stayed to get the long exposure afterward.  I'm so happy to have realized this vision!  Thank you, Lisa, for allowing E to model for me!  I have a present for you!

The Maidens family was the first family in my portfolio when I decided to pursue my photography business.  I'm so happy they have come back to me for their Christmas Card photos this year!  Mom decided that, this year, we'd try the mountains for a background instead of the beach.  Lucky for us, the Ko'olau cleared up as we were out there and showed their beautiful green majesty, but today, the mountains had to compete with the cuteness factor of three gorgeous kiddos!

This Sunday morning was a beautiful sunrise at Lanikai Beach.  Amber's little family met me for a mini Christmas Card session and we had fun playing with B. B. to get him to smile for me.  I can't wait to see y'all again, soon!

This little guy is 8 days old and such a calm baby!  His name means "Peaceful Ocean" and it suits him very well.   He will be well loved by his big brother, sister and all his cousins!

Sweet cuddly Miss E is just over 2 weeks old.  She gave us a bit of a hard time as she did not feel that it was necessary for her to sleep today.  Maybe we should have consulted with her calendar to make sure a photo session was in her plans for the day!  However, we did get some good images!  I’ll be going back soon for a few more.
